Granoff Center

The Granoff Center for the Creative Arts hosted a day of exhibits, workshops, and performances led by some of Providence’s outstanding community youth arts organizations.

This event was sponsored by the Creative Arts Council, Department of Music, Department of Visual Arts, and TAPS; in collaboration with the Providence Youth Arts Collaborative. The day honored the work of Brown University alumni and their colleagues in the Providence community for their work developing vibrant, creative youth development ventures that rival those of larger cities. The day paid tribute to the work of the youth who collaborate with the adult artists and staff and who are poised to be the community’s future leaders and innovators. The event ofered a full day of exhibits, performances, workshops, and conversations in which participants imagined a future of art, innovation, and civic engagement at Brown and in Providence.
