World Premiere of The Open Door plus Taylor masterworks Esplanade and Airs!

Featured live music by members of the Brown University Orchestra with guest soloists Solomiya Ivakhiv and Frederick Jodry, conducted by Paul Phillips.

In recognition of our treasured long term partnership with ADLI, the Brown Music Department, and Brown University as a university partner, FirstWorks offered a $15 discounted student rate ticket to Brown University students for the Paul Taylor Dance Company world premiere of Dance #146, “The Open Door” on Friday, February 3, 8:00 pm at The Vets.

Additionally, the rehearsal of Esplanade with the Brown Orchestra served as a “student matinee” for young people in FirstWorks Arts Learning on Friday, February 3 at 12:30pm at The Vets. The company also be talked about the work.
